Big news everyone!

I got hired to be a Care Partner on Med/Surg Oncology (North 6) Unit! I had an interview yesterday and I start May 19th! The nurse manager told me that some of the patients are Women's Oncology which is great since I want to be a Women's Health Nurse Practitioner and I'm sure I'll see lots of cervical and breast cancer.

It's a part-time position with benefits and I will be working day and night rotation. Supposedly, CPs on N6 get to do blood draws, IV starts, Foley caths, and simple wound care instead of just bedmaking and bed baths!

Well, Scotty and I officially have our own apartment! We got the keys today... well he did, but he's gonna make copies for me. Or just get a lock system all together. I'm super excited. Now, I'll have my own place and I'll be able to get dropped off at my apartment and not at someone else's or in front of the dorms. No elevators, no signing Scotty in! We move all of our stuff in on Saturday :) And I'm pretty excited to have a cuddle fest.

I've got an interview at the Richmond SPCA on Wednesday. I really need a job and I hope I get this one! Hanging out with Lisa was nice this weekend.

Rugby game yesterday... and they started me first half as hooker :)

I just spent 10 days with Scotty. It was amazinggggggg :)
We celebrated our two year anniversary together. Yeps!

So yeahhhh. I have updated in awhile. So here is an update (just for you, Schneebs ;]):

I spent last week with Scotty :] It was WONDERFUL! And by wonderful I mean amazingly amazing and full of goodness! My Scotty is phenomenal and I don't know what I'd do without the cute-face... peas ;)

I scheduled my classes at VCU and met my roommate. Her name is Erin and she's pretty cool. Speaking of VCU and Nursing, Katie came to my grad party and it was nice to see her. Speaking of the name Erin, Erin's doing her mission trip in SD and I chyea, I miss her and the gross jokes.

I gained some weight after graduation, so I joined a gym and Weight Watchers for motivation. I'm hoping to reach my short term goal before my cruise to Bermuda and my long term before I go off to college. Wee!

Scotty and my's two YEAR(!) anniversary is coming up really soon. I have some pretty nifty ideas for a gift. Hopefully, we'll spend some time together during our anniversary week!

I REALLY cannot wait for college. I'll finally be with my lover-do and I'll get to see Katie as well. Study buddies? Heck yes. Yayayayayayayayayay.

Okay, so I never thought that I'd be getting sad about graduation. After the last crew 'get-together' today, I got a little sad. When Coach Brian gave me my senior blade and looked at me, smiled and said "4 years", I got a little teary-eyed. Yeah yeah, lame.

ONE EXAM.
ONE PROJECT.

I didn't get the job at Curves because I'm leaving for college in August. Ah, oh well. Looks like I'll be staying at Gap. What will I do without Erin though?

I smell like embalming fluid and Vick's. Isn't that gross? I got a 97 on my Bio II test(which amazes me) and I got the only 100 on my english quiz. Woohoo, go me. I think bones are my thing. BONES!

Orchestra festival on Saturday, guys. It lasts a total of like 20 minutes for us, so check it out! And we don't totally suck anymore. I swear my orchestra teacher almost cried after she heard us play.
